| WP was in town for business. HK happened to be in town as well. We had a mini-reunion of sorts. PLR and his wife drove up from the suburbs. We all met at Bin 36. It was great seeing everyone and reminiscing about life in Korea.

| I learned today that one of my photos was used for a magazine cover. I had submitted the photo to a stock photo site awhile ago. I was randomly checking my account and saw a comment that my Hong Kong photo was used for the Christian magzine Lifted. It was cool to see one of my vacation photos on a magazine cover. Here's the cover.

| My dad visited us in Chicago last week. We headed to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin for a couple of days. It was nice to get away. We basically ate really well and got some needed rest.

| JK, AK, and I flew down to Houston to celebrate AK's 1 year birthday last week. We wanted AK to spend her birthday with her grandparents and great-grandmother. The theme of the bday party was Hello Kitty. It was nice to spend time with family. AK enjoyed seeing her cousins.
